Hotel Beltrán de Santa Cruz
The Beltran de Santa Cruz is a restored 18th century mansion located very close to Old Square in Old Havana, re-opened as a cozy inn where the combination of modern and old architectural elements highlight its attractive design.
This noble house was originally built by Gabriel Beltran de Santa Cruz’s parents, the first San Juan de Jaruco Count, and later belonged to the descendants of the distinguished Cardenas de Monte Hermoso Marquis. Some of the city’s most illustrious visitors
gathered in this house including Baron Alejandro de Humboldt, the eminent German scientist, three French princes, the Beaujolais Count and the Montpensier and Orleans Dukes. The Orleans Duke later became Philip I of France.
