Where is it? Cayo Las Brujas is connected to the north shore of Villa Clara province via a causeway. The dive center here also services neighboring Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo Ensenachos.
Getting there: Most international travelers to this area purchase all inclusive flight/accommodation transfer packages to Cayo Santa Maria/Cayo Ensenachos. Independent travelers may also choose rental vehicles or taxis to the hotel zone.
Accommodations: Villa las Brujas is an intimate hotel located right at the marina. Various all inclusive resort options also exist for visitors in neighboring Cayo Santa Maria and Cayo.
The diving: Coral reefs, wrecks, and a variety of fish, turtles, and occasionally even sharks can be spotted in the dive zone. The dive center varies immersions between 15 identified dive sites.
Frequency: The dive center offers two daily departures (morning or afternoon), with 2 dives per departure. The dive center is closed on Sundays.

Excludes: add’l equipment rental, (equipment rental is also payable locally for divers purchasing fewer than 3 dives/diver), gratuities.
Requires: presentation of international dive certification and foreign passport. Cuban nationals require previous National Coast Guard authorization to board dive vessels.
Note 1: up to 2 daily dives/session available in this destination, specific locations pending weather conditions. 2 daily sessions offered.
Note 2: If your dive destination involves domestic flight services, WoWCuba suggests keeping in mind that domestic flight schedules in Cuba are irregular and subject to last minute changes. It’s recommended not to fly within 24 hours of your last dive so avoiding planning/programming any diving on your last day in the destination is prudent.

Requires: Presentation of foreign passport, signed medical waiver and 2 1″X1″ photos. Cuban nationals require previous National Coast Guard authorization to board dive vessels. Divers completing Advanced (or superior) courses must present their current certification and logbook. Referral course students must bear their duly signed theory/pool paperwork for local presentation. Children under 18 must present a permission letter signed by parents or guardians.
Note 1: Total open water/advanced course time is normally 3-5 days, pending weather conditions. WoWCuba recommends a minimum of 4 nights in the destination to avoid disappointment. Referral courses involve 2-3 half days of dive departures, but do take possible inclement weather into consideration when forming your travel plan to avoid disappointment. If the selected destination involves domestic flights, planning for an extra night is wise.
