Minimum Bareboat Charter Period:  1 week. Additional days are available at 1/7 of the weekly rate (e.g. 10 days is possible). Departure dates are not fixed,  you can begin any day of the week pending equipment availability.

Equipment Included: in-mast furling mainsail (catamarans: lazyjacks), roller furling genoa, spinnaker (spinnaker* (additional 300€ deposit), electric anchor windlass, bimini, sprayhood (not on catamarans), dinghy with outboard, autopilot, GPS, CD player, electric and compressor refrigerator (catamarans electric only), 220 V land hookup, barbecue* for stern pulpit, snorkeling equipment*, linen and towels, end cleaning.
BAVARIAS: wind generator.
LAVEZZI AND BELIZE: solar panels.
BAHIA: generator, 220 V electricity aboard.
BELIZE & BAHIA: water maker

Long Term Discounts:
2+ weeks and up: 5% discount on total,
3+ weeks and up: 10% discount on total

Advance Booking Discount: if your registration form and deposit are received at least 6 months prior to travel date: 5% discount on total.

Deposit/Final Payment:
To confirm equipment, a 50% deposit is due upon booking with final payment due no later than 90 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Forfeiture:
After remitting deposit: 50%
Within 12 weeks of departure: 75%
Within 8 weeks of departure: 100%
Cancellation insurance is recommended and available at time of booking.

Extras (payable locally):
1) Sail board (windsurfer): 50€/week
2) Skipper: 80€/day plus provisions (to be paid with last installment of contract); note that bookings with skipper do not require a security deposit 
3) Cook/sailor 50€/day plus provisions (to be paid with last installment of contract)
4) Advance order by provisioning list is possible (provisioning to be paid at the base)
5) Local tax $6 CUC per person per day, to be paid at the base (children under 12, $3 CUC per day)
6) Security deposit waiver (optional and payable locally by cash, Visa or Mastercard): 150€ for Bavaria or Athena models, 250€ for Lavezzi, Belize and Bahia models. When paid with contract, the waiver reduces deposit and liability to:
350€ for Bavaria or Athena models, 750€ for Lavezzi, Belize and Bahia models. Use of a spinnaker requires an additional 300€ deposit.
7) One way surcharge (available upon request): Cienfuegos - Cayo Largo or reverse. Other one-way destinations (providing int’l check-in/out is available in the alternate port)

Diving: dive master $91 CUC per day plus provisions (to be paid with last installment of contract), diving equipment $25 CUC per day (to be paid at the base).

Cruising Area: Cuban national waters. Nighttime sailing prohibited within reef areas. Only crew members allowed aboard.

Boarding: daily, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Disembarkation: daily, completed until 10:00 a.m.
