Budget: Havana City and Havana Beaches Holiday
Day 1: Upon arrival at the Havana airport, you'll be met by the Havanatur representative outside the secure arrivals area. The representative will deliver your voucher package and will direct you to the proper vehicle for your hotel transfer. Accommodation at the Hotel Caribbean located on the Prado. Breakfast is included daily. Chinatown is close by, offering economical meal choices for lunch and dinner. Day 2: A half day city tour with a professional bilingual Havanatur guide will start your exploration of Havana. The excursion begins at 9 a.m. visiting the Grand Theater, Central Park, National Capitol, Fraternity Park, Revolution Square and University Hill before a walking tour of the squares of Old Havana. After returning to your hotel at noon, you'll enjoy a free afternoon and evening. BB Day 3: A free day while staying at the Hotel Caribbean. We recommend a daytime walking tour of restored Old Havana. This evening, catch a bike taxi or "Coco Taxi" to a jazz club in the Vedado section of town - we highly recommend the El Zorro y el Cuervo or El Gato Tuerto BB Day 4: Explore Havana's many museums at your pace. We recommend the Museum of the Revolution, Museum of Music and the Orichas (Santeria religion) Museum, all within a few blocks of your hotel. Tonight, walk the Malecon and mingle with the locals. BB Day 5: A short taxi ride (approx. $25, not included and paid locally) to eastern Havana beaches (Beaches of the East). The Hotel Tropicoco is right across from a beautiful stretch of the Santa Maria beach and offers an "all inclusive" service which extends to non-motorized water sports. AI (begins at 3 p.m. check-in time) Day 6 & Day 7: Continuation of beach stay at Tropicoco. AI Day 8: Return to Havana airport where you'll bid a fond farewell to the isle of Cuba.
