The Hostal Valencia was built at the end of the 18th century as a private home for Councilman Sotolongo. The Hostal is superbly located on Oficios street, near the historic Plaza de San Francisco and only 200 meters from Plaza de Armas (Arms Square). The carved roof, balustrades and iron works of its balconies provide light and freshness to its rooms.

The Hostal Valencia offers accommodations in 18 quiet, large hotel rooms with private bath. Also on site is La Paella Restaurant, Nostalgia bar, Cigar House and the "Entresuelo" bar/shop. The restaurant has twice won the top prize for its paella at the International Paella contest in Sueca, Spain.
