Sancti Spiritus Province |
Trinidad is the highlight of Sancti Spiritus province and is Cuba's most colonial city. Cobblestone streets, churches, museums, beaches, diving on the Ancon peninsula, the Manaca-Iznaga tower overlooking the sugarcane fields, and the natural beauty of the mountains and the summit Topes de Collantes are just a few of the reasons people like to come and stay in this town overlooking the Caribbean. UNESCO declared Trinidad a World Heritage site in 1988.
