Founded in the early 20th century in Camagüey, the Hotel Plaza is the oldest working hotel in the city of Camaguey and still maintains most of its original architecture. The Plaza is proud to have once welcomed Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral as a guest as well as being the site of the first broadcast of a Cuban radio station outside of Havana.
