Havana Province & Beaches of the East |
 A 14 km white sand beach is a treasure just 15 kilometers east of Havana city (technically it is part of the city). The most western beach, Bacuranao is most frequented in summer by the locals of nearby Alamar. Santa Maria del Mar, often considered the best beach area and home to several international hotels, is followed by Guanabo, an area for Cuban vacations and likely to be the liveliest part of the beach. The best all inclusive hotel in the area (surprisingly, there are only 3 hotels here offering this service) is the Sea Club Arenal, located relatively close to Guanabo. This hotel offers free daily transfer service to/from Havana twice daily for its guests.
