Itinerary:

Day 1 - Sunday
If required, airport transfer service is available to your hotel (add'l $). Inquire for details. Accommodation and dinner in selected hotel in Havana.

Day 2, Monday - La Habana
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Partagas Cigar Factory Walking tour of the Historic Center of Old Havana, World Heritage Site including a visit to San Francisco de Asis Plaza, Old Square, and Mercaderes Street to the Ambos Mundos Hotel where North American writer Ernest Hemingway lived for a time. Continue to Arms Square where you can visit the Captain General's Palace. Lunch in La Mina restaurant. Alter lunch, you can walk Obispo Street to Central Park. Visit the the Rum Museum to apréciate the Havana Club rum fabrication process as well as a taste test. We'll finish up the city tour with a panoramic tour of the Havana Malecon and the Avenue of the Presidents to introduce you to Modern Havana and arrive at Revolution Square. Return to hotel. Dinner tonight in La Dominica Restaurant.

Day 3, Tuesday - La Habana, Viñales, La Habana
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by air conditioned bus to the Viñales Valley in Pinar del Río, Cuba's westernmost province where the best tobacco in the world is grown. View exotic countryside with valleys of royal palms, the national tree. Visit the Candelaria Cigar Factory enroute. Continuation to Viñales. Visit the "El Paraíso" faro where you can get to know tobacco culture as well as the way of life of the Viñales peasants as well as their hospitality and simpleness. Visit the Indian Cave including a boat trip in its underground river. Lunch in Rancho San Vicente. Visit the Prehistory Mural where you can appreciate reproductions of prehistoric paintings on some of the oldest rocks on the island. Stop in the Los Jazmines lookout to appreciate the Viñales Valley in all its splendor. Return to hotel for dinner and free night.

Day 4, Wednesday - La Habana, Cienfuegos
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Cienfuegos with a visit enroute to the "Farmers Party". Arrive in Cienfuegos in time for lunch at the Yacht Club followed by a tour of the main streets and avenues. The city is situated on a marvellous bay protected by the Jagua Castle. The French influence in Cienfuegos gives it a truly distinctive touch: perfect symmetry in its urban design, neoclassical construction and a long boardwalk. Tour of the Martí Park, Palacio del Valle, the Tomás Terry Theatre, the Casa de Bienes Culturales and the Purísima Concepción Cathedral. Continuation to Trinidad. Accommodation and dinner in selected hotel. Free night.

Day 5, Thursday - Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Topes de Collantes
Breakfast in the hotel. Panoramic tour of Trinidad, one of the first villages founded by the Spanish in 1514, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visits to the Parroquial Mayor de la Santísima Trinidad church, with is luxurious altar adorned with precious woods and images from 300 years ago, Plaza Mayor and the Palacio del Cantero. Visit the La Canchánchara bar to enjoy a cocktail by the same name. Lunch in the Mesón del Regidor Restaurant. Transfer to Topes de Collantes via an impressive mountain road which crosses over the Escambray range. Lodging in the Hotel Los Helechos bungalows. Free night.

Day 6, Friday - Topes de Collantes/Excursión Guanayara
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for the excursion to the Guanayara Nacional Park, 15 kms from Trinidad. Featured are an ample variety of endemic flora and fauna, sites of extraordinary beauty, hiking paths, natural pools and the beautiful El Rocio waterfall. Cuban lunch in the La Gallega restaurant. Visit the Coffee Plantation. Return to the hotel. Dinner tonight at the Mi Retiro restaurant.

Day 7, Saturday - Cayo Las Iguanas Excursion
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for a catamaran excursion to Cayo Iguanas. Lobster-based lunch. Return to the hotel at 17:00. Dinner at the hotel. Free night.

Day 8, Sunday - Topes de Collantes, Torre Manaca Iznaga, Sancti Spiritus, Cayo Santa Maria
Breakfast in the hotel. Visita to the Manaca Iznaga plantation. Continuation of trip to Sancti Spiritus. Lunch in the Quinta Santa Elena restaurant. Continue to Cayo Santa Maria for accommodation and dinner in the Sol Club Cayo Santa Maria hotel. Free night.
