All Central Cuba Cycle Tour
Santa Clara, Remedios, Mayajigua, Sancti Spiritus, Trinidad, Cienfuegos
Your cycle tour begins with a visit to the city of Santa Clara, where revolutionary Che Guevara's remains are entombed. Our hotel Los Caneyes features circular bamboo cabanas, modeled after the Indians' housing by the same name. We'll then head north to one of Cuba's oldest towns, Remedios. An afternoon at the beach, then the next day we're off through rural countryside with great views to accompany us to a lakeside property in Mayajigua. The charming historic Hostal del Rijo inn in Sancti Spiritus will be our home for a night, and then we'll visit Cuba's most colonial city Trinidad, staying just blocks from the main plaza at Hotel Las Cuevas.
Continue to Cienfuegos, the "Pearl of the Caribbean", known for its French-influenced architecture, for lodging at Hotel Jagua or Hotel La Union. We'll dine in some local restaurants and partake in Cuba's many cultural opportunities before bidding farewell to the friendly people in Cuba.
